With this project, Polipak takes a significant step towards the decarbonization of its operations and the Group\u2019s broader ESG strategy, which is firmly focused on building a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly installed photovoltaic system is expected to generate approximately 1,300 MWh of clean energy annually, covering around 10% of Polipak\u2019s electricity consumption and resulting in estimated annual savings of approximately 840 tonnes of CO\u2082 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a leading manufacturer producing over 3,000 tonnes of high-quality garbage bags per month, Polipak\u2019s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint not only demonstrate Sarantis Group\u2019s commitment to responsible production and sustainable innovation, but also actively contribute to minimizing the environmental impact across the Group\u2019s value chain. By offering products with a reduced carbon footprint, we support our retail partners and end-consumers in achieving their own sustainability goals and fostering the collective reductions needed to address CO\u2082 scope 3 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Polipak, we view sustainability as a core responsibility that extends beyond operational improvements to making a tangible contribution to environmental protection.
